Tourism and Services
The tourism industry has always been a driving force for the global economy.
The forecasts for growth of the years to come are positive; despite the continuous turbulences at the international level of a climatic and terrorist nature, the Tourism World Organisation envisages a constant growth of tourism flows also in the light of the business development of large Asian countries, especially China.
In our Country, the tourism business includes a series of activities that provide one of the greatest contributions to the GDP (204.8 billion euros equal to 11.4% of the GDP), employment (12% of the employed) and the balance of payments (10 billion euros of assets).
A series of institutional, traditional and recently set up players operate in this industry:
Many players, all endeavouring to conquer the tourist of the future: Independent, experienced, technology oriented, with high expectations as to the quality of the product purchased, active and open to other cultures, willing to take short but more frequent holidays, very sensitive to environmental and social issues.
Axteria is currently working with some of the main operators of the tourism sector in order to accelerate understanding of new phenomena, identify the correct business models and implement corporate management methodologies capable of generating value for all stakeholders.
